~ October 6, 2007 ~ CHRIS & SUPATTRA ~ Calgary Zoo ~

I meet the nicest people in the strangest places ~ I met Supattra in Costco! She saw a bouquet I made for my booth at an open house, loved it but wanted rich dark colors for her fall wedding. We sat down and looked at a few photos and came up with a combination that would look amazing set in the fall with the Calgary Zoo as a back drop! Thank you very much for allowing me to make these arrangements for your special day ~ I really enjoyed meeting both of you & working with the flowers you chose!

Love is what makes two people sit in the middle of a bench when there is plenty of room at both ends!

~ September 18, 2007 ~ STEVE & MELANIE ~ Calgary, AB ~

Melanie & I actually met on Facebook! :) We got together and talked about her vision for her & Steve's quiet and intimate backyard wedding, and came up with her florals. She knew they would be taking some photos in the moutains after their ceremony, and I had the perfect shawl to compliment her beautiful gown. It was a pleasure being a part of you wonderful day!

Steve & Melanie, may your joys be as bright as the morning, your years of happiness as numerous as
the stars in the heavens, and your troubles but shadows that fade in the sunlight of love!!

Carla & I met a few times and co-ordinated their decoration ideas & colors. I was able to help her out with the tulle for their favors, the conversation candy hearts, her beautiful veil, and I enjoyed designing their bouquets & boutonnieres. The stargazers smelled amazing and looked lovely along with the pink roses.

~ June 30, 2007 ~ GEORGE & KRISTI ~ Willow Park Golf Club ~

I was very happy to create their simple & elegant rose bouquets & boutonnieres, and their large centerpieces. I was fortunate enough to stay and enjoy their wedding while assisting wedding planner, Leigha (Blackwood Wedding Planning) for the ceremony & reception. Tiramisu provided wonderful music for the ceremony as well as when the hors d'oeuvres were served during cocktail hour.

Kristi & George you have a lot to look forward to in the year to come, congrats & best wishes!

I had an amazing time planning & decorating with Lacey. Set-up the day before their wedding went very smoothly due to the support from her family & friends who assisted! I initially met Lacey to help her with her jewelry & accessories, then helped with her favors, attendant gifts & decorations!
